I have been working away on some online teaching material over the summer, and the first three lectures are now available, covering an introduction to biostatistics, data and descriptive statistics, and inference. There’s more to follow, including a self-assessment quizzes.
In due course I will also be writing about how I made them, which is a characteristically Grantish lo-fi approach typing up the HTML and experimenting with HTML5 slides and audio players, Mrs Grant’s digital camera and a Skype headset. Not a penny was spent on the whole process, apart from hosting the website.
If you have any opinions on these lectures, let me know. I’d really appreciate any feedback.
